Or, if you prefer to pronounce Copenhagen with a "short a" sound,
The Data Foggin' Depart Copenhagen.
Oh, where to begin. The climate summit has come to an end, and (thankfully), the extremists' visions of dancing carbon credits did not come true. Yet. A tentative international agreement was reached, though it does not legally bind any nation to do anything. Even CNN admitted that "it was freezing there," and that at least one photographer was shooed away from a key meeting. President Obama had to leave early to get back to Washington, due to the huge snowstorms in the Eastern U.S.

Healthcare reform was passed in the senate at 1 AM (Eastern) this morning with a party-line 60-40 vote. So much for transparency in government. It's time for these people to go home - especially their leaders. (Dare I say more?)
Dared or not, I cannot resist commenting on this vote. (And this congress. Bear with me.)
To begin with, Harry Reid bought out - yes, that is a synonym for bribed - several key senators who were skeptical of the bill. They were right to be skeptical, but they were cowardly at best and terribly corrupted at worst to accept a windfall in exchange for their vote on a bill which has the potential to change history.
Which brings me to my next point. I have yet to hear of a single senator who can honestly claim they actually read the bill - which, at 353,330 words long, is twice the length of the Bible's New Testament, and over 80 times the length of the U.S. Constitution.
Senate Minority Whip Mitch McConnell may have been right, then, to call the bill a "legislative train wreck of historic proportions."

On a somewhat-related note, the worst irony of the day may be this quote by Barack Obama, which seems to have escaped the media's watchful eye (although it certainly didn't escape my ear while I had C-SPAN on today).
Edit: I have now found a source citing this quote (which turns out to be different by a word or two, due to my rapid memorization of Obama's quote). "After years of irresponsibility, we are now responsible for every dollar we spend."
"After years of irresponsibility, we are once again taking responsibility for every dollar we spend, the same way families do." [Source]
Really, nothing could be further from the truth, given the second stimulus (pork omnibus) bill, which was also signed in the middle of the night.
